To make your stay more pleasant and to prevent any potential misunderstandings, please read the house rules below. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, accepted, and will comply with the House Rules. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in the cancellation of your reservation and a charge for the entire stay, even if the stay is shortened.
Basic Information
- Free Wi-Fi is available.
- Your accommodation will be cleaned and prepared before your arrival and once a week during your stay if it exceeds 10 nights.
- Cukrarna Hostel will provide fresh towels every 3 days.
- Tourist tax is payable upon arrival.
Check-In / Check-Out
- Check-in from 15:00 to 20:00.
- Check-out from 8:00 to 11:00.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel within 5 days of the scheduled arrival, you will be required to pay the full price of the reservation.
- If you cancel after arrival, no refund will be given for the entire reservation period. Non-Refundable Reservation
- The full price of the reservation will be charged if you booked accommodation with no cancellation rights.
Children and Extra Bed Policies
- Children under 4 years old staying in a crib or existing beds (with parents) stay free of charge.
Pets
- Pets are allowed only with prior approval from Cukrarna Hostel.
- Arrival of pets without prior notice and approval from Cukrarna Hostel is not allowed, and the hostel reserves the right to cancel the reservation in such cases.
- Pets must have all necessary documents and vaccinations according to current regulations in Slovenia.
- Pets should always be kept on a leash in public areas.
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas. If this rule is violated, additional cleaning charges will apply.
- Pet owners must provide a bed for their pet, as well as food and water bowls. Using guest towels, bedding, or blankets for pets is prohibited.

- Free parking is available nearby, 300 meters away from the center (reservation is not possible).

House Rules
- Upon arrival at Hostel Cukrarna, check in at the reception. Payment for your stay is due upon room assignment. New guests are accepted after 15:00.
- Upon arrival, we will provide you with instructions for use and maintenance, which you must follow.
- Smoking is prohibited on the premises. The fine for smoking indoors is 125 EUR.
- Sorting of waste is mandatory: general waste, plastics/cans, paper, and glass.
- Equipment in the rooms (cushions, blankets, towels, etc.) may not be used outside.
- Respect the silence and peace inside and outside the property.
- When leaving the apartment, ensure that windows are closed, air conditioning and electrical devices are turned off, and water is shut off.
- If you lose your room key, please inform us immediately.
- Guests who intentionally or unintentionally cause damage to the property or items of Cukrarna Hostel must pay for the damage in full.
- Please report any faults, damages, or dissatisfaction with items or services immediately so we can address them and improve our service.
- The fire safety rules and evacuation plan are posted in a visible place. Check where the fire extinguishers are and follow the instructions of the staff and fire safety regulations.
- Consumption and/or introduction of alcohol and illegal drugs is prohibited. The introduction of any weapons is also prohibited. We reserve the right to seize prohibited items and report the offender to the police.
- House rules are monitored by: Hostel Manager, hostel staff, and security services.
- All mentioned persons have the right to act upon discovering violations, anywhere and anytime in the hostel, without the guest's explicit consent.
